GHW’s Production Bases Launch Full-Scale 2026 Work Safety Month Campaign

China’s 25th National Work Safety Month officially kicked off in June 2026. To fully implement national requirements on work safety, Tai'an Havay and GHW (Vietnam), two major production bases under GHW, have successively held launching ceremonies to arrange core priorities for safety management.

·Shandong Havay Base

On May 29, Havay Group took the lead to launch its 2026 Work Safety Month activities themed Everyone Prioritizes Safety, All Readied for Emergencies – Identify and Rectify Potential Hazards. The ceremony was attended by corporate management, heads of all functional centers and frontline staff from every department.

Liu Jing, Assistant General Manager of Havay Group, delivered a mobilization speech. She underscored that work safety serves as the cornerstone of corporate growth and the guarantee of employees’ wellbeing. All personnel must stay alert to safety risks, strictly abide by safety regulations, fulfill post-related responsibilities, conduct regular hazard inspection and rectification, improve emergency response capacity and resolutely stick to the red line of safe production.

A targeted training drill on emergency equipment was staged at the ceremony. Staff representatives from the No.1 Methylamine Plant demonstrated the standard donning steps of heavy-duty chemical protective suits and positive-pressure breathing apparatus, while fire control specialists explained key operational points and emergency precautions to solidify employees’ practical emergency skills. Afterwards, representatives from the Security Department led all participants in a solemn safety oath, unifying the workforce’s safety mindset and laying a solid ideological groundwork for follow-up safety implementation.

·GHW (Vietnam) Base

GHW (Vietnam) hosted its 2026 Work Safety Month launch ceremony on June 2 under the theme Identify Hidden Hazards On-site and Comprehensively Upgrade Safety Management, with all department managers and on-duty employees present.

Zhai Laiqing, the site’s Director, delivered a mobilization and work deployment address. Based on the inherent operational features of the chemical industry, he elaborated on the critical importance of production safety. He stressed that safety is far more than a slogan; it is the lifeline of stable business development and the core benchmark for daily job performance. All employees are required to respect safety disciplines, comply strictly with operational rules and embed safety awareness into routine work and every operational detail.

In light of the site’s actual operating conditions, three key safety priorities were confirmed: First, carry out regular post self-inspection focusing on production details and operational procedures to eliminate safety risks from the source; Second, enforce multi-level safety accountability across departments and refine individual job responsibilities; Third, organize regular practical emergency drills to boost staff’s emergency handling capabilities through training and practice.

Taking the Work Safety Month as a key opportunity, the Vietnam base will roll out comprehensive site-wide special safety inspections, systematically sort out and rectify existing safety deficiencies and advance the optimization and upgrading of its safety management system.

Going forward, GHW’s domestic and overseas production bases will keep aligned with the annual Work Safety Month theme and steadily advance a full array of initiatives including safety education, hidden hazard rectification and emergency capability improvement, to underpin the Group’s high-quality and sustainable development.
